Ooredoo EZ Cup Valorant

Ooredoo was launching EZ Cup, its own esports platform, and entrusted the first edition to North Events. We handled the full audiovisual production, designed the stage and cast the hosts and analysts who carried the live show. A first edition commits more than an ordinary tournament: it sets the standard expected for every edition that follows, and a failed start would have compromised the whole platform. The event took place in a dome venue, with worked lighting, the players facing each other and the audience all around — a setup that gives scale to the picture while keeping the intensity of the game at the centre. The format was designed to showcase the brand without ever pushing the competition into the background. The platform was renewed in the following years, on other games.
